Unlike emergency services, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services do not require any lifesaving skills or equipment. NEMT typically includes senior transportation and those with temporary or permanent disabilities or memory care issues requiring assisted ambulatory, wheelchair or stretcher/gurney transportation.
